Paul McCarthy is the Founder and CEO of Snapfix.
With over 25 years of experience in software development and a strong background in building management, Paul McCarthy recognized the need for a more efficient communication system in the industry.
His frustration with the multitude of ineffective communication methods like post-it notes, phone calls, voicemails, text messages, and emails led him to seek a simpler solution. Paul wanted a photo-based platform, as effortless as WhatsApp, that could manage all aspects of building and project management seamlessly.
After extensive market research, Paul McCarthy discovered a gap. Existing solutions were either overly complex, form-based, inflexible, time-consuming, or expensive. His desire for a straightforward and photo-centric solution fueled his determination to create Snapfix.
Snapfix was designed with a laser focus on simplicity. It utilized the power of photos for communication and employed a traffic light system for collaboration. This simple approach allowed users to convey information effectively: red for new tasks, yellow for work in progress, and green for completed tasks.
Since its inception, Snapfix has successfully assisted various customers across diverse sectors, including hotels, office and apartment buildings, facilities management, cleaning and equipment management, universities and schools, engineering and infrastructure, airports and construction sites, as well as field service companies. Each customer tailors Snapfix to their unique requirements, harnessing its capabilities to enhance their operations.
Snapfix’s overarching mission is to bring organization and efficiency to the world’s buildings, facilities, and equipment.
With its user-friendly interface and powerful features, Snapfix is revolutionizing the way buildings and facilities are managed worldwide, putting control and productivity in the hands of users everywhere.
