Eran Shlomo

Eran Shlomo is the Co-founder and CEO for DataLoop.

Eran has held key positions in Intel’s processor division in the 13 recent years and has global expertise in computing and information processing architecture, and was responsible, among other things, for the development and implementation of machine-learning technologies in every Intel lab in the world.

In addition, in recent years Eran was the technological leader of the cooperation program with Intel Israel startups (IPP), and was part of its founders. Eran also has rich entrepreneurial experience, and Dataloop is his third start-up. Eran holds a BSc degree in Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at the Technion.

Eran is an entrepreneur, senior tech leader, deeplearning expert and tech savvy, and enjoys tech and have deep, broad, rare expertise from low level HW logic through OS, drivers and into cloud, analytics, data science and machine learning. His experience includes both industrial architectures as well a makers technologies (like Arduino, Raspberry, Edison, Curie), with focus on full system view and market aware solutions needs. In the past few years his focus was system debug and security (see SOSP publication).

His security work was mainly focused on Intel technologies (with major technology developments contribution, to be released in 2019).
Since 2010 Eran Shlomo has started to shift his professional attention towards big data and analytics with focus on IoT, Joining Smartap.
In Smartap Eran developed both FW as well as cloud, db and analytics infrastructure, developing deep expertise in IoT solution and technologies.

At Intel Eran leveraged his IoT expertise and was part of the founding the IoT startup accelerator program in Intel Israel Development Center, Mentoring startups into product design and launch while defining and planning new IoT technologies for Intel.

In the past two years Eran has put a strong focus on computer vision and deep learning and founded dataloop.ai. Eran is always looking for talent, HW, FW and SW. So give him a ping!
