Christoffer Sigshøj is the co-founder of KiteX.Tech.
Christoffer Sigshøj has a diverse professional background spanning various companies and roles. As a co-founder of KiteX.tech, Christoffer focuses on the mechanical and design aspects of super lightweight mobile wind turbines. His pivotal role at KiteX.tech involved developing an efficient and easily installable tethered wind turbine design, surpassing the capabilities of traditional turbines.
Before KiteX.tech, Christoffer was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Canairi until 2021.
He served as a freelance consultant/specialist at Stiesdal Offshore Technologies. His responsibilities encompassed the facilitation of wave-tank testing for offshore wind turbine platforms, successful coordination of test campaigns, and the design of tailored measuring equipment.
Christoffer is also an experienced kitesurf instructor at Surf.dk and was the owner of Sigshøj Surf.
Christoffer embarked on his academic journey at Helsingør Gymnasium, completing their Studentereksamen degree in 2011. During this period, he concentrated on mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
Subsequently, he pursued advanced studies at DTU – Technical University of Denmark. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Maritime Studies.
After his undergraduate degree, Christoffer pursued a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution. Additionally, in May 2015, he obtained the Yachtskipper 3. grad certification.
