Bob Stoneking is the Principal at Pachydermos, LLC, a consulting and advisory firm that serves small and medium technology businesses.  Experience shared with incredible partners over thirty years helps Bob drive change faster than most.  He’s held management, consultant, and advisor positions in public and private sector settings.

Bob is a Customer Success zealot who builds his perspective through the needs of others.  Teaching teams how to understand internal and external customer requirements is a proven core competency for Bob.  He has a track record of effectively distilling market demands and then orchestrating required changes in organizations, systems, policies, and processes.

Bob Stoneking is a servant leader that builds comfortable conditions for conflict resolution.  As a result, he helps organizations get to the bottom of problems and define improvement strategies.  He propagates success-oriented behavior by helping teams understand how what they do matters.  Bob easily employs management techniques that create trust.

Bob builds deep partnerships with customers and colleagues.  He views mentorship roles to be his greatest professional accomplishment.  He understands that there is a difference between leading teams and motivating individuals and that helps him drive and sustain growth.  Bob Stoneking considers accountability to be a state of mind, not a tracking mechanism.

Bob’s best work has been in the presence of mature or nearly mature business models where team and process improvements were a priority.  He prefers to work with an organization that has great talent, but needs help connecting that talent to strategy, while optimizing execution.

The following experiences stand out as contributors Bob’s professional acumen:

  • Operating a nuclear submarine
  • Growing as a young leader while positioning a successful company for sale
  • Creating mutually-beneficial relationships across diverse markets
  • Witnessing productivity changes in engaged employees
