Mark Lass

Mark Lass is the Co-Founder and COO of Scanit and PNS Communications LLC, a technology firm that utilizes Direct Response Video Codes in their app, Scanit.  With its patented optical interactive scanner technology, Scanit can link mobile and digital displays and will revolutionize how users receive information.

Before PNS Communications, Mark served as partner and operator with Press Communications, LLC (PCLLC) for over twenty-five years. Some of PCLLC assets were; NJ101.5FM (WKXW-FM) Trenton NJ, 1260AM (WBUD-AM) Trenton NJ, 97.3 FM (WBSS-FM) Millville NJ, TV 18 (WKCF-TV) Orlando Fl, and 104.1 (WTKS-FM) Orlando Fl.

As vice president and general manager of WKCF, Mark turned the television station into the number one WB affiliate in the country. He also operated and grew the talk format on WTKS 104.1 and turned it into the number one rated radio station in Orlando in only three years. Mark also served on the Board of Directors for the Asbury Park Press, a daily newspaper located in Neptune NJ.

Mark’s extensive background in the broadcasting industry is a perfect precursor to PNS Communications and he will help his ambitious team to make Scanit a worldwide app. There is no better time for this technology to bloom due to social distancing and companies demand for better ROI’s.

Outside of professional interests, Mark enjoys surfing, golfing, guitar playing, working out, and enjoys living in San Diego with his wife and two children.
