Carl Wiese is the Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer at Poly, where he leads the global sales function and is responsible for setting the company’s sales strategy. He manages a worldwide team that delivers top-tier service and solutions to Poly’s partners and customers. Wiese joined Poly in January 2020, bringing over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, services, and product management in the enterprise technology sector.
Before his tenure at Poly, Wiese was the President of Global Sales and Service at Blackberry. In that role, he played a pivotal part in transforming Blackberry from a mobile device company into a respected cybersecurity firm. Prior to Blackberry, Wiese held leadership roles at Cisco, including Senior Vice President of World Wide Collaboration Sales and Vice President of Advanced Technology Sales for North America, where he led the company’s global collaboration business and shaped its sales and market strategy.
Wiese’s extensive experience also includes key sales positions at major technology companies such as Apple, Avaya, Lucent Technologies, and Texas Instruments. His broad expertise across different aspects of technology sales and management has established him as a leading figure in the industry.
In addition to his corporate roles, Wiese co-authored the book The Collaboration Imperative: Executive Strategies for Unlocking Your Organization’s True Potential and serves on several academic boards. He is a member of the Board of Advisors for the School of Entrepreneurship and the Board of Governors at Oklahoma State University. Wiese holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University.
