Phillip Dunkelberger

Mr. Phillip Dunkelberger is the President & CEO of Nok Nok Labs, and has spent more than 30 years in the technology field.

From the advent of the Local area network (LAN) and PC’s, to the creation of the standalone Security market, he has seen the impact of “big ideas” that have revolutionized the industry.

Before the formation of Nok Nok Labs, Phillip Dunkelberger served as CEO of PGP Corporation until Symantec acquired the company in 2010. Over 7 years, He built the company into the leader in the Enterprise Data Protection market.

Prior to founding PGP Corporation, Mr. Dunkelberger served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Doll Capital Management (DCM); President and CEO of Embark, a SaaS-based IT infrastructure provider for the Education market; President and COO of Vantive Corporation, a vendor of enterprise customer relationship management (CRM) software.

He has also held senior management positions with Symantec, Apple Computer and Xerox Corporation.

Phillip Dunkelberger has served on a number of Board of Director positions. Most recently, Social Fortress and Crossbeam Systems and was a founding Board member of the Cyber Security Industry Alliance (CSIA). Mr. Dunkelberger currently serves as Chairman Emeritus of TechAmerica’s CxO Council.

Phillip Dunkelberger has a B.A. in Political Science from Westmont College and is a member of the school’s President’s Advisory Board.
