Moody Abdul is the Founder and CEO of Klarify, an AI-powered platform helping therapists reduce administrative burdens and spend more time focused on client care. Inspired by his own experience with therapy and the impact it had on his life, Moody co-founded Klarify to address one of the biggest challenges facing mental health professionals today: the growing amount of time spent on documentation, insurance claims, compliance, and other administrative work that takes clinicians away from their patients. Klarify is backed by Y Combinator, one of the world’s leading startup accelerators.
Before launching Klarify, Moody co-founded Circleback.ai, an AI-powered meeting assistant designed to help professionals capture, organize, and act on conversations more effectively. Earlier in his career, he co-founded RecruitHer, a platform focused on connecting women with opportunities in technology, and held roles at LinkedIn, Scotiabank, and Accenture, where he developed expertise in technology, product development, and business growth.
Moody is also the host of the Future of Therapy Podcast, where he speaks with therapists, researchers, practice owners, and innovators about the trends shaping the future of mental healthcare. Through his work as a founder, operator, and podcast host, he has become a respected voice on the intersection of artificial intelligence and behavioral health, advocating for technology that strengthens—not replaces—the human relationships at the core of effective care.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia.
