Daniel Ishag is Chief Commercial Officer at Bakkt, Inc. (NYSE: BKKT), where he works across the Bakkt platform to drive revenue growth through strengthening the sales and partnership pipelines.
Daniel is a serial entrepreneur scaling international businesses across fintech, digital marketing, water technology, and decentralized finance. He most recently served as Founder and CEO of Gyzer Network, an infrastructure layer for moving money between fiat and digital assets.
Previously, Daniel founded Return.Finance, recognized as Europe’s first regulated DeFi aggregator, focused on bridging regulated financial infrastructure with decentralized finance solutions. As Founder and CEO of Europe’s first search marketing ad network, Daniel scaled the company across 12 countries before merging with NASDAQ-listed FindWhat.com in a transaction valued at approximately USD $183 million, creating a global corporation serving more than 100,000 clients worldwide. He also founded and led Bluewater Bio, which became one of Europe’s leading independent water technology companies and scaled one of the first major new water treatment technologies developed outside of a traditional utility company in decades.
