Yushiro Kato is the co-founder and CEO of CADDi, known for his expertise in procurement strategy.

Yushiro Kato began his career at McKinsey & Company after graduating from Tokyo University in 2014. At McKinsey, he was the youngest manager leading procurement and IoT initiatives for top American manufacturers. His time at the firm gave him insights into the pain points of the procurement sector.

In November 2017, Yushiro Kato founded CADDi, a manufacturing platform that automates the connection between buyers and suppliers, guided by the mission “Unleash the potential of manufacturing.” Under Yushiro’s leadership, CADDi has achieved notable success, earning recognition like a spot on Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2019. The company has secured $164 million in total funding, supporting its mission to transform the manufacturing landscape.

CADDi has expanded from its Tokyo base to operations in five countries, including the recent opening of an office in Chicago. Yushiro, along with his co-founder Aki and their team, are working to revolutionize the future of manufacturing. They have ambitious goals to reach $10 billion in transactions by 2030 and establish significant manufacturing operations in 30-40 countries worldwide. CADDi is reshaping how the industry functions.
