Clay Moffat is a normal guy who developed an abnormal obsession.

While everything on the outside looked calm, his internal world was chaos. Ex-weapons tech. Long military bloodline. Mind wired for spotting patterns and calling bullshit.

The first 26 years of his life were spent getting “screwed over”. But in reality, he was a victim and didn’t even know it.

That’ll do something to a man.

He got obsessed with one thing, how to get people to give their word and actually mean it.

That led to the deeper question:

Why do people do what they do? And how do I get them to do what I want?

He spent two years spinning his wheels. Testing everything. Nothing worked.

Then he saw the obvious. If you want what you want, help people get what they want first.

So he jumped in blind. No plan. No filter. Just raw obsession. Spent years learning from trainers who trained, as opposed to coaches who trained. One’s battle-tested… The other isn’t.

Eventually, he stopped wasting time and went to the top.

Trained directly with:

  • Chase Hughes (behavioral profiling and advanced influence)
  • Kenrick Cleveland and David Snyder (persuasion and influence)
  • John Overdurf and Mark Cunningham (hypnosis, NLP, identity work)
  • Mark Joyner (strategy and marketing)

He studied. Coached. Broke. Rebuilt. Again and again. Then applied everything to branding, persuasion, marketing, and performance.

He kept things tight. No spotlight. Just a sharp rep inside a small circle.

Then in Dec ‘24 his only working eye started to fail.

So he pulled the plug. Deleted everything. For family. Just in case the lights went out for good.

The surgery was the same one that took out his other eye in 2010. So this wasn’t theory. This was now or never.

He wrote and published The Trust Trap in three weeks.
No launch team. No hype. No plan. Just a race against time and the need to leave something behind that mattered.

Now his vision’s stabilizing. And he’s done playing small.

He’s not here to inspire you. He’s here to wake you the hell up.
To hand you the tools you never got.
The kind that keep you from screwing yourself over, again.
