Listen to Amy’s Podcast!
Amy Farner is Executive Vice President and Head of Research and Product at The Josh Bersin Company, where she leads the vision and integration of the firm’s research and product portfolio to shape how HR organizations operate in the age of AI. She is focused on translating cutting-edge research on work, skills, and organizational performance into intelligent, scalable solutions that redefine how companies build, develop, and deploy talent.
Amy works at the intersection of insight and execution—partnering with global HR leaders, researchers, and technologists to turn emerging signals into practical, real-world capabilities. Her work is grounded in a core belief: that AI is not just a technology shift, but a fundamental reinvention of how work gets done, how decisions are made, and how people grow. Under her leadership, the company connects research directly to product innovation—embedding intelligence into workflows, capability models, and experiences that help organizations move from insight to action.
With more than 25 years of experience spanning HR, research, and product innovation, Amy has advised organizations across industries on skills-based strategies, leadership transformation, workforce analytics, and the evolving role of HR as a driver of business performance. Prior to joining The Josh Bersin Company, she served in leadership roles with Deloitte Consulting and CEB’s Corporate Leadership Council (now Gartner for HR).
Amy lives in Phoenix, Arizona, and holds a BA from Wesleyan University’s College of Social Studies.
