Jeff Mahony is the Co-Founder and Chief Architect of RYT, a Layer-1 blockchain built for governments and institutions. A seasoned technologist with more than 30 years of experience at the intersection of finance and advanced technology, Jeff designed RYT’s patented Proof of Majority consensus mechanism and is leading efforts to bring decentralized systems and verified digital identity into real-world government and enterprise infrastructure.
Jeff’s career has always centered on solving complex, high-stakes problems. He co-founded SaveDaily, one of the earliest fintech platforms to deliver scalable, accessible investing, and previously led the Jeda Group, guiding major financial firms through the first wave of internet transformation. His early work at TRW’s Space and Defense Sector and Smart Technologies, developing predictive algorithms and modeling tools, foreshadowed today’s data-driven, AI-informed systems that underpin modern digital economies.
Jeff holds a Cognitive Science degree from UCLA and brings a systems-level approach to every project, focusing on scalability, security, and transparency as he helps build digital infrastructure built for the next billion users.
