Katie Fortunato is the Co-founder and EVP of Platform Innovation and Strategy at Hire Innovations, a global leader in human-centered AI talent technologies and services. As a next-generation leader in talent-tech, Katie drives innovation across three industry-leading platforms, Recruitics, Talivity, and Jobstream, helping some of the world’s largest brands modernize hiring while maintaining a human-centered approach.
In 2023, she launched Talivity, the fastest-growing communities for people leaders, and established the Hire Innovations Innovation Lab, where she develops next-generation tools that connect talent with job opportunity. Her latest venture, Jobstream, launching in 2026, enables job discovery through social platforms, “the ShopMy of career content” while helping creators earn through transparent, affiliate monetization.
Through Jobstream, Katie is giving creators a new way to monetize their influence. The platform allows content creators, influencers, marketers, and community builders to earn revenue by connecting their audience with real, verified career opportunities.
Before entrepreneurship, Katie led brand experiences and business development for iconic companies including MTV, AOL, and The Wall Street Journal, where she built the publication’s first brand experience and live video practice. Today, with Gen Z and Millennials now half the workforce, her work bridges innovative AI systems with real human needs.
Katie also serves as President of the Onward & Upward Foundation and sits on the Board of the American Red Cross – Metro NY North Chapter, championing mission-driven technology, workforce equity, and a more compassionate approach to hiring. She splits her time between New York City and Greenwich, CT, and is passionate about theatre arts, philanthropy, and building community.
