Charfen.co.uk is not a phishing or malware site. No blacklist we checked flags it. But it isn’t the business-growth platform its About page describes. It’s a general-topic blog, about 20 months old, that publishes guest posts from SEO agencies, takes submissions through an email address on a different website, and has no named owner or registered UK company.
It also has no connection to Alex Charfen or charfen.com. It’s fine to read, but don’t rely on it as an expert source and don’t hand it personal details.

What is Charfen.co.uk?
Charfen.co.uk is a WordPress blog with menu categories for Business, Food, Health, Home Improvement, Lifestyle, News and Tech. In early October 2026 its homepage showed a steady flow of short consumer articles: streetwear styling, bike tyres, companion robots, outdoor cameras, travel eSIMs. Most were posted on the same day.
The site describes itself in two different ways:
- The About page says Charfen.co.uk exists “to empower entrepreneurs” with “expert advice from the minds behind the world’s most successful companies.” It names no experts, founders or team members.
- The footer calls it a platform for “insights, news, and analysis on various topics related to the United Kingdom,” from politics to culture.
Neither description matches what the site actually publishes. It’s mostly general-interest guest content, not UK news and not expert business coaching.
Who runs Charfen.co.uk?
We couldn’t identify an owner, and the site doesn’t name one.
- WHOIS: registered on 23 January 2025 through Realtime Register BV (trading as Axidomains). The registrant’s name is withheld, which is normal for individuals on .uk domains.
- Hosting: the domain uses Hostinger’s nameservers (dns-parking.com).
- Companies House: a search for “Charfen” returns no matching company. The only near match is an unrelated, dissolved firm with a different name.
- Authors: posts are credited to “Admin” and to accounts named “RAZA SEO | Star Rank Agency”, “Backlinks Hub” and “Blitz”. The first two names belong to link-building and SEO agencies, not journalists.
Charfen.co.uk vs Charfen.com (Alex Charfen)
People often search for this domain expecting Alex Charfen, the US entrepreneur coach behind the Momentum podcast and charfen.com. Charfen.co.uk has no visible connection to him. It doesn’t mention him, link to his company, or share his branding. Earlier versions of this article suggested it was “inspired by” his frameworks. We found nothing to support that, and we’ve removed the claim.
There is also a lookalike domain, thecharfen.co.uk. It was registered on 3 December 2025 through the same registrar, with the same Hostinger nameservers. It returned a “403 Forbidden” error when we checked it, and we couldn’t confirm who owns it.
Charfen.co.uk trust scores, and why they disagree
Automated checkers don’t agree on this site. Some don’t even agree on what it is.
| Checker | Score | How it classifies the site | Caveat |
| Scamadviser | 83–89 / 100 (“Very likely safe”) | “Diet and meal preparation” | The score changed between two page loads on the same day |
| Gridinsoft | 69 / 100 (“Trusted but verify”) | “Gaming site” | Last full scan was 8 August 2025 |
| Scam Detector | 20.8 / 100 (“Suspicious”) | “News & Blogs” | Based on data from when the domain was about 6 months old |

These tools mostly measure technical signals: domain age, SSL, blacklists and traffic rank. They don’t read the content or check who is behind a site. That’s why one tool calls a blog full of streetwear and tyre articles a recipe site and another calls it a gaming site. Treat any single score, including the 96/100 that circulated in 2025, as a snapshot, not a verdict.
What the checkers do agree on: no malware, no phishing flags, a valid HTTPS connection, and very low traffic. Scamadviser rates its Tranco rank as “rather low”.
Charfen.co.uk reviews
There are no customer reviews to speak of, because there’s nothing to buy. The site doesn’t sell products, subscriptions or coaching. Most of what comes up when you search for “charfen.co.uk reviews” is articles on other websites that call it a “business growth platform” or a “secret weapon” for UK businesses. The site’s own content doesn’t support those descriptions, and they read like promotional placements, not independent reviews.
Employee reviews on Glassdoor for a company called “Charfen” belong to Alex Charfen’s US business. They aren’t about this website.
How to contact Charfen.co.uk
- Contact page: it has no working form. The page still shows the template placeholder “[Insert a simple contact form here with fields for Name, Email, Subject, and Message]” and misspells the site’s name as “CHARFAN.CO.UK”.
- Guest posts: the “Write for Us” page asks for submissions to guestpost@technicalinterest.com. That address is on technicalinterest.com, another general-topic blog whose footer uses the same wording and the same guest-post address. The Write for Us page also still contains the placeholder “[topics your blog covers, e.g., business, tech, lifestyle, travel, health]”.
- No phone number, postal address or social media accounts are listed.
If you’re contacting the site about a guest post, expect to deal with whoever runs technicalinterest.com, not a separate Charfen team.
Is Charfen.co.uk legit?
It depends on what you mean by legit.
Safe to visit? Yes, as far as we can tell. No blacklist, malware or phishing flags, and it has a valid HTTPS connection.
A trustworthy source? Not really. Watch for these signs:
- No named owner, editor or registered company. There’s no one accountable for what it publishes.
- The About page doesn’t match the content. It promises expert entrepreneurship advice; it publishes consumer guest posts.
- Guest posts are handled from another domain, and that domain shares its footer copy.
- Unfinished template pages on Contact and Write for Us.
- A dofollow footer link with the anchor “sunwin”, a name associated with online gambling sites, pointing to an unrelated Indian domain (mahaveerranches.co.in). This kind of sitewide footer link is typically sold, not editorial.
- Low traffic and contradictory automated trust scores.
Worth a guest post? That’s a business decision for the buyer, but check what you’re paying for. A site with no editorial identity, sitewide paid footer links and low traffic carries little reader value. Google’s link spam policies say links bought to pass ranking credit should carry rel=”sponsored” or rel=”nofollow”.
Our verdict
Charfen.co.uk isn’t a scam that steals money or data. It’s a low-traffic guest-post blog with an About page that oversells it, no identifiable owner, and no connection to Alex Charfen. Read it the way you’d read any anonymous blog: check its claims elsewhere before acting on them.
How we checked: On 6 October 2026 we reviewed charfen.co.uk’s homepage, About, Contact, Write for Us and author pages; looked up the domain on whois.com and Companies House; compared Scamadviser, Gridinsoft and Scam Detector reports; and checked technicalinterest.com, thecharfen.co.uk and charfen.com. We’ll update this page if any of these change.
FAQs
No security tool we checked flags it for malware or phishing, and it doesn’t take payments. It isn’t an established publication either: it has no named owner, no registered company, and it mostly publishes guest posts.
No. Alex Charfen’s business is at charfen.com. Charfen.co.uk doesn’t mention him or link to him, and we found no evidence of any connection.
The owner isn’t public. WHOIS shows only the registrar (Realtime Register BV) and a 23 January 2025 registration date, and no UK company called Charfen is registered on Companies House.
The Contact page has no working form. Post submissions go to guestpost@technicalinterest.com, an address on a different website.
Automated checkers score technical signals such as domain age, SSL and traffic, and update at different times. In October 2026 the scores ranged from 20.8 to 89 out of 100, and the tools disagreed on whether it’s a recipe site, a gaming site or a news blog.
