William Pigeon is the Co-Founder & CEO of Table Command.
William “Will” Pigeon stands at the helm of Tablet Command as its CEO and co-founder, steering the company to the forefront of emergency response and incident command management solutions. A native of the East Bay, San Francisco, Will’s journey took him to San Diego State University, where he delved into Computer Science before securing a BS in Information Systems.
While attending SDSU, William Pigeon began his fire service career in 1998, taking on roles from firefighter and paramedic to fire dispatcher and flight rescue medic, primarily within the San Diego region. In 2005, his path led him to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, where he started as a firefighter/paramedic before ascending to Assistant Fire Chief in 2018. Will left the Fire District at the end of 2020 to work full-time for Tablet Command as its Chief Technology Officer, before becoming Chief Executive Officer.
During his tenure at Contra Costa County, Will was instrumental in managing the Communications Division, encompassing the 911 Center and Information Technology departments. His vision and entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with colleague Andy Bozzo’s, gave birth to Tablet Command in 2011, which has since revolutionized how public safety professionals across North America respond to and manage incidents.
With an educational foundation in information technology and a career in fire operations and communications, Will’s expertise extends to the intricacies of fire communication and technology systems. His dedication to advancing mobile technology within the fire service sector is unwavering, as he continues to lead Tablet Command in its mission to equip and empower first responders. As CEO, he continues to propel the company to new heights, offering cutting-edge solutions to tens of thousands of public safety professionals throughout North America, revolutionizing emergency response and incident management with each innovation.
