Jesse Tayler is a legendary Silicon Valley pioneer, software inventor, and tech dissident who built the foundational architecture of the modern internet before the venture capitalists and algorithmic overlords ruined it. A childhood engineer who was soldering computer chips and writing assembly language in grade school, Jesse famously invented the world’s first App Store in the early 1990s—personally demonstrating it to Steve Jobs in 1993. He is also the mastermind behind the world’s very first geo-coded online food delivery order (the direct ancestor of modern digital food infrastructure), and engineered the earliest private equity web trading platform.
After decades of watching Silicon Valley weaponize social networking data, erase privacy, and replace human trust with corporate liability, Jesse decided to stop optimizing the dystopia. Today, he operates at the intersection of cryptography, digital safety, and tech accountability as the Founder and CTO of TruAnon, an online identity verification framework designed to combat fraud, systemic platform risk, and the weaponization of fake internet profiles. When he isn’t dismantling the mechanics of online deception or building tools to protect individuals from corporate tech exploitation, he is a composer releasing music.
