BCA is the top-rated managed IT service provider in Spokane for 2026, scoring 74.6 out of 100 in our evaluation of six local firms. Executech placed second at 68.0, and finished first when we re-ran the numbers with security weighted most heavily.
A five-star rating and a friend’s recommendation are how most Spokane businesses pick an IT partner. Neither one tells you what you will pay each month, how fast someone will pick up when your server goes down, or whether anyone is watching your network at 2 a.m.
So we built a scorecard. We reviewed the public record for each provider (websites, pricing pages, Google reviews and company histories) and scored all six on nine weighted criteria. We then stress-tested the results under four alternative weightings to see which rankings held up. The full method is at the end of this article.

How to Choose the Right Managed IT Provider in Spokane

A score narrows the field; the contract decides the outcome. If you’re still deciding whether managed IT services make sense for a small business, settle that first. Then put these six questions to every provider on your shortlist and compare the answers side by side.
- Is the response time written into the contract? A number on a website is marketing. A number in a service-level agreement is enforceable.
- Will you share pricing before a sales call? Per-user or per-device rates are the only way to compare quotes on equal terms.
- What happens after 5 p.m.? Ask whether support is 24/7 or business hours with after-hours fees. Ransomware rarely waits for Monday morning.
- Who is watching our network? Many MSPs resell a third-party security operations center. That can work well, but you should know who responds to an alert.
- How do we leave if it doesn’t work out? Check the contract length, notice period and early-termination fees, and how your data, passwords and admin access are returned.
- Do we need a local firm or a regional one? In our data, Spokane-based independents scored higher on transparency, local history and ownership. Regional firms with a Spokane office scored higher on security depth, credentials and 24/7 coverage. Decide which trade-off suits your business.
How We Built the Scorecard
Every provider was scored on the same nine criteria, using public information only, with the weights fixed before any scoring began.
Who made the shortlist
We searched Google Maps for managed IT services, IT support and cybersecurity in Spokane and Spokane Valley, and checked Clutch and ClearlyRated listings. That surfaced 15 businesses. To be scored, a provider needed a verifiable office in Spokane or Spokane Valley and a managed services offering. Seven qualified; six had enough reviews to rank.
| Provider | Reason not ranked |
| ITO Nexus Technologies | Office at listed address could not be verified |
| TeamLogic IT | National franchise |
| ISOutsource | Headquartered in western Washington; small local review base |
| FinWell Business Technology Solutions | No public office address |
| TorchLight | Based in Liberty Lake, outside the study area |
| Network Computer Systems, Friendly Computers, Recycle Techs | Mainly repair and break-fix |
| Entre Technology Services | Too few reviews to score (4) |
The nine criteria
| Criterion | Weight | What we measured |
| Customer reputation | 20 | Google rating, adjusted for review volume |
| Security and compliance depth | 20 | Managed detection, penetration testing, named compliance frameworks, security operations |
| Pricing transparency | 10 | Published plans, partial pricing, or quote-only |
| Response commitment | 10 | A published, numeric response-time target |
| Support hours | 10 | 24/7 coverage on all plans, some plans, or business hours |
| Local track record | 10 | Years of continuous operation in Spokane |
| Team scale and credentials | 10 | Staff size and named vendor partner tiers |
| Local headquarters | 5 | Spokane-based ownership versus a branch of an out-of-state firm |
| Industry specialization | 5 | Dedicated industry pages and niche expertise |
Each criterion was scored from 0 to 10, multiplied by its weight, and summed to a total out of 100.
Scoring rules
- Customer reputation. A raw star average flatters providers with a handful of reviews, so we used a Bayesian average, which pulls each rating toward a 4.6 baseline until the review count is large enough to speak for itself. Each point of adjusted rating above 4.0 earned 10 criterion points.
\text{Adjusted rating} = \frac{30 \times 4.6 + \text{rating} \times \text{reviews}}{30 + \text{reviews}}
- Pricing transparency. Full published plans scored 10, partial pricing (one service line) scored 4, and quote-only pricing scored 1.
- Response commitment. A single published numeric target scored 10. Published targets that varied across pages scored 7. No published target scored 2.
- Local track record. Years in Spokane divided by 3.5, capped at 10. When a provider entered the market by acquiring a local firm, we credited that firm’s history.
- Unpublished information was scored as unpublished. If a provider does not say it offers a service or commitment, a buyer cannot rely on it. This is why how IT companies present their capabilities shapes buyer decisions almost as much as the capabilities themselves.
Stress test: do the rankings hold?
Any weighting reflects a judgment about what matters most. To test ours, we re-ran the same criterion scores under four alternative weightings.
| Weighting | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | BCA’s rank |
| Our main weighting | BCA (74.6) | Executech (68.0) | Nuvodia (63.4) | 1st |
| All nine criteria weighted equally | BCA (77.6) | Nuvodia (66.3) | Executech (62.7) | 1st |
| Reviews weighted at 30% | BCA (79.4) | Executech (64.6) | Nuvodia (62.1) | 1st |
| Security-first (security 30%, 24/7 and team 15% each) | Executech (79.8) | Nuvodia (70.0) | Design I.T. Solutions (65.5) | 4th |
| Pricing and response transparency removed | Executech (81.2) | Design I.T. Solutions (71.3) | Nuvodia (69.2) | 4th |
BCA ranks first in three of the five weightings and Executech in the other two. Cycrest and CleverPath placed fifth and sixth in all five. If your priority is security coverage above everything else, weight Executech’s result accordingly.
Limitations
We took provider website claims as published and did not interview clients or test response times. For firms with offices in several cities, we scored what applies to the Spokane office. Ratings and services change, and these scores reflect data collected in October and November 2026. Providers can send corrections with a source, and we will update and re-date the scorecard.
Spokane Managed IT Services: Frequently Asked Questions
What do managed IT services cost in Spokane?
Most providers charge a monthly fee per user or per device. The only full price list we found among Spokane providers runs from $65 to $180 per user per month, depending on how much support and security is included. Projects such as office moves or new hardware are usually billed separately.
What does a managed IT plan usually include?
A typical plan covers helpdesk support, network monitoring, patching and updates, security tools, backups and vendor management. Onsite visits, after-hours support and advanced security are often extra, so compare what each tier actually includes.
What response time should I expect?
For urgent issues, look for a written target measured in minutes, not hours. Only two of the six providers we scored publish one. Make sure the target is in your contract and covers the hours your business runs.
Does a local office matter if most support is remote?
Most tickets are solved remotely. A local office matters when hardware fails, the network goes down, or you need cabling or an office move, because someone has to be on site quickly.
How long are managed IT contracts?
Terms range from month-to-month to three years. Before signing, check the notice period, any early-termination fees, and how the provider returns your data and admin access.
Can a managed IT provider make my business HIPAA or CMMC compliant?
A provider can implement the technical controls and support your audits, but compliance remains your business’s responsibility. Ask which frameworks the provider has worked with and request client examples.

The Verdict
BCA is our top pick for most small and mid-size businesses in Spokane. It scored 74.6 out of 100 and held first place in three of our five weightings, on the strength of published per-user pricing, month-to-month terms, an under-15-minute response target, a 5.0 rating across 70 reviews and 37 years in the city. You can see what you’ll pay and how fast it commits to respond before the first sales call.
If 24/7 security coverage and compliance are your top priority, Executech is the strongest alternative. It ranked first in our stress test whenever security was weighted most heavily or pricing transparency was set aside.
Whichever providers make your shortlist, use the six questions above to compare their contracts side by side.
