Listen to Erik’s Podcast!
Erik Braund is the founder and CEO of Katmai, the virtual office platform built for one singular mission: to delete your f–king meetings. Before launching a war on back-to-back calendar chaos, Erik spent years running a music and video production company—and playing in Alaska’s most grungy of underground grunge bands, Delmag – a band whose name is permanently tattooed on no less than three fans’ bodies. Erik and the team built Katmai to bring back the spontaneity, speed, and actual humanity of working together. Got a calendar full of nonsense? He’ll shred it while you pretend not to enjoy it.
Before Katmai, Erik Braund produced or directed projects with and for notable companies like New York Times, Amazon, NPR, Morgan Stanley, Food Network, The New Yorker, VH1, Pitchfork, Atlantic records, Sony, Vice, etc.. featuring the likes of Sting, Courtney Love, James Earl Jones, Jennifer Hudson, Nick Jonas, Greta Gerwig, and Tony Robbins, among others.
Katmai:
Feel like you’re together again. No matter where you are. No more collaborating in stacked boxes of video feeds. Work together just like you do in-person: in a ✨place.✨ Create your own virtual office, then invite your team in. It’s the next best thing to IRL.
