Khushi Kaur is a Partner with McKinsey & Company based out of the New York office. Her core expertise is in leading large scale DigitalData and Analytics Transformations for Financial Services clients. Her key expertise spans digital strategy, defining a digital vision and aspiration, scaling digital transformations, organization design, digital talent, capability building, change management and application of best-in-class practices. She gets a lot of energy from helping her clients create bold digital aspirations and creating a thoughtful strategy and plan to achieve those aspirations.

Khushi’s prior work experience includes working at Apple, Goldman Sachs and Deloitte. Khushi Kaur obtained an MBA from Wharton School of Business, and has a Bachelors and a Master’s degree in Computer Science. Outside of work, she is very passionate about Women ITechnology, women in leadership roles and creating the right sponsorship networks for women.

Khushpreet is a core leader of McKinsey Digital, co-leading our digital-at-scale work for the financial services sector with a focus on large-scale digital and analytics transformations. She helps companies transform their organizations to realize new business value via digital ways of working and advanced analytics. Her expertise lies in digital strategy, scaling digital transformations, organization design, digital talent, capability building, change management, and application of best-in-class practices.

Among her recent work, Khushpreet:

  • led a multi-year, end-to-end digital transformation for a commercial property insurer, including digital vision and aspiration, talent strategy, operating model design, and launching pilots with emphasis on improving speed to market and customer centricity
  • led a large-scale digital transformation for a B2B financial services provider that included launching lighthouse customer journeys, building internal resources capabilities, designing a new operating model, and establishing a center of excellence, bringing deep improvements to efficiency, customer satisfaction, and employee experience
  • oversaw a large digital transformation for a retirement, life insurance, and wealth management company that included defining digital strategy, a five-year road map of digital journeys, a playbook for scaling up, and onboarding a new chief digital officer, with an aspiration of 15 to 20 percent ROI
  • spearheaded the technology assessment and strategy design for a life and retirement carrier, including baselining current technology performance across value delivered, efficiency, effectiveness, business enablement and capabilities
  • led efficiency transformation in application development and maintenance, and information security domain for an insurance provider, with a 30 percent improvement in value capture
