Evyatar (Evya) Ben Artzi is the Co-Founder and CEO of Darrow, a legal technology company on a mission to transform the legal system through data-driven legal intelligence. Founded in 2020, Darrow uses a combination of artificial intelligence, data science, and legal expertise to uncover hidden legal violations that would otherwise go unnoticed. Under Evya’s leadership, Darrow has grown to a team of 150 employees across offices in Tel Aviv, New York, Miami, and Arizona, and is trusted by top legal firms across the United States.
Evya’s vision for Darrow is rooted in a belief that justice should be accessible, proactive, and driven by data. Evyatar Ben Artzi believes that the legal system too often protects only those who can afford or understand its complexity. Darrow aims to change that by building a frictionless justice system where technology is used not to replace legal expertise but to amplify it, surfacing wrongdoing at scale and enabling attorneys to act faster, more strategically, and with greater impact.
Before founding Darrow, Evya served in Israel’s High Court of Justice Department within the State Attorney’s Office, where he specialized in administrative law and public policy litigation. There, he witnessed firsthand the structural barriers that prevent legal systems from responding effectively to widespread harm.
Evya was also a Company Captain in the Israel Defense Forces where he developed and implemented field strategies, analyzed high-stakes intelligence, and led operational teams under pressure. This experience taught him to navigate and synthesize information rapidly and think five steps ahead: all qualities he brings to scaling a mission-driven tech company.
Outside of Darrow, Evya is the co-founder of Yahav, a nonprofit that promotes social change through education and leadership development in Israel.
Evya holds a combined LLB and BA in Law and Cognitive Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His interdisciplinary education spans psychology, philosophy, linguistics, computer science, neuroscience, AI, and anthropology, giving him a uniquely holistic perspective on how humans think, decide, and interact with systems of power.
